I am inorganic chemist at Otterbein University with interests in synthetic inorganic chemistry, crystallography, and visualization in research and education. The Symmetry@Otterbein website started as a side project to aid in teaching concepts of point group symmetry to my inorganic students – and the site has evolved into a resource used by thousands of students and faculty worldwide.
I have always enjoyed the aesthetic aspects of Chemistry and hope that the materials that I have prepared will communicate this in a way that can be appreciated by students at all levels.
